OT. OTs With Nipper Embossed in the End Covers

I picked up a pair of NOS p-p output transformers with "Nipper" metal-stamped on the winding covers. Sold as HMV but could be RCA or JVC. Very neat looking assembly without the use of through-lamination bolts. About 10W or so. Wax encapsulated which probably indicates paper between windings and may indicate HiFi model.
Any thoughts on whether Hifi or not?

My thought is this: do you have an oscilloscope(dual trace) and AF signal generator?

Comparing input vs output waveforms across the audible spectrum can give some immediate indication.

Unfortunately, I do not have a dual trace CRO.
